Terms of Service
Last updated August 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, applications, APIs, and related services offered by SafeHazeLLC (the “Service”). By creating an account, inviting users, submitting a demo request, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Acceptance and changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will revise the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify workspace owners through the product or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request export of workspace content as described below.
The Service
SafeHazeLLC provides software that helps teams plan change windows, collect approvals, detect conflicts, and publish release notes. Features vary by plan. We may add, modify, or retire features with reasonable notice when a change is material. Marketing descriptions are illustrative. The Service is provided as a hosted product; we do not transfer ownership of our software to you.
We do not operate your production systems. A window, approval, or board in the Service is a record and a coordination tool. It does not itself deploy code, pause traffic, or guarantee that a change is safe. You remain responsible for the technical and organizational controls around any release you perform.
Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your accounts and for the members you invite. Workspace owners control roles, integrations, and retention. You must promptly revoke access when a person should no longer use the workspace. We may suspend an account that presents a security risk, fails to pay, or violates these Terms.
API tokens inherit the permissions of the member who created them. You must store tokens securely, rotate them when a member leaves, and avoid embedding them in public repositories. Abuse of the API, including attempts to exceed rate limits by deceptive means, is a material breach.
Customer content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including window titles, comments, ticket identifiers, and release notes (“Customer Content”). You grant SafeHazeLLC a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service, to prevent abuse, and to comply with applicable law. We do not claim ownership of your release process or your product names.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Customer Content and to connect third-party tools. You must not upload unlawful content, malware, or information you are not authorized to share. We may remove content that violates these Terms or that creates a risk to other customers.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law permits, probe it in a way that degrades service for others, resell it without a written partner agreement, or use it to send unsolicited bulk messages. You may not use the Service to conceal unauthorized production changes or to misrepresent an approval that was not granted. Competitive benchmarking is allowed if you do not publish non-public product details.
Fees and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance according to the pricing presented at purchase or in an order form. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for unless we are required to collect them. Unless an order form says otherwise, subscriptions renew for successive terms of the same length until cancelled. You may cancel renewal before the next term; fees already paid are not refundable except where applicable law requires or we agree in writing.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and, after notice, suspend the workspace. Usage that exceeds plan limits may be billed at the then-current overage rates or may be throttled, depending on the plan. Enterprise terms in a signed order form control if they conflict with this paragraph.
Intellectual property
SafeHazeLLC and its licensors own the Service, including software, design, documentation, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you any right to our marks except as needed to identify the Service internally. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you. Third-party product names mentioned in integrations belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement.
Third-party services
The Service may interoperate with issue trackers, pipelines, chat tools, and monitors you choose to connect. Those products are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their handling of data, or changes they make to their APIs. If a provider revokes access, related features may stop working until you reconnect or replace the integration.
Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other. The receiving party will use that information only to perform under these Terms and will protect it with reasonable care. This duty does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiver, independently developed, or rightfully received from another source. Customer Content is your confidential information. Product performance data that does not identify you may be used by us in aggregate.
Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, that conflict detection will catch every overlapping change, or that a published note will satisfy a specific audit standard.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid to SafeHazeLLC for the Service in the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply to a party’s fraud, or to your payment obligations, or to infringement of the other party’s intellectual property, to the extent applicable law does not allow such limits.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify SafeHazeLLC against claims arising from Customer Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your combination of the Service with systems we do not control, except to the extent a claim is caused by our willful misconduct. We will defend you against a third-party claim that the unmodified Service infringes that party’s intellectual property, and we may modify the Service, obtain a license, or terminate the affected feature with a refund of prepaid unused fees for that feature.
Term and termination
These Terms start when you first use the Service and continue until terminated. You may stop using the Service and close a workspace at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach that remains uncured after notice, for non-payment, or where required by applicable law. Upon termination we will disable access. Upon written request within thirty days we will make a reasonable export of Customer Content available, after which we may delete it from active systems subject to routine backups and legal holds.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would choose another body of law. Disputes will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction. Each party consents to that jurisdiction and venue. Either party may still seek interim injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
General
These Terms, together with any order form and the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement for the Service and supersede prior discussions on the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except to an affiliate or successor in connection with a merger or sale of substantially all assets; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization. Notices to us must be sent to the address below. Notices to you may be sent to the email on the workspace owner account.
